With the blessings and hard work of Ramon Lomosbog (Lady of Charity Esperanza’s husband), the land was prepared and the seeds were planted. We are truly a family at St Matthias the Apostle Church.
St. Martin of Tours Church Ladies of Charity held a Virtual Mother’s Day Tea on Mother’s Day 2021 and coupled it with a Silent Auction to raise funds for St. Ann’s Infant Home in Washington, D.C.
On June 11, 2021, Ms. Mame Ellis turned 100 years of age. She is a long-time member of the Ladies of Charity at St. Hugh of Grenoble Church in Greenbelt, MD.

No grass has grown under the St. Hugh LOC members’ feet during the pandemic.

Some experts project that one-third of non-profits may fail as a result of Covid-19. The president of one of our Ladies of Charity associations writes, “…we have some challenges ahead, but we are cautiously optimistic.”
Our Pantry Manager, Barbara Glover, came up with the idea of taking the pantry to the clients.
