St. Martin of Tours Church Ladies of Charity held a Virtual Mother’s Day Tea on Mother’s Day 2021 and coupled it with a Silent Auction to raise funds for St. Ann’s Infant Home in Washington, D.C.
The Ladies joined each other via Zoom, beginning with prayer and enjoying a brunch of goodies from their tea kits, as well as viewing a Mother’s Day tribute dedicated to the Mothers of the Church. To their surprise, the Ladies received a special prayer from Father Michael Kelley, Pastor of St. Martin’s Church, who popped in to join the party before officiating the 1st Communion Mass.
While some items were sold, there were several items that did not receive a bid and the Ladies agreed to extend the Silent Auction for the next few weeks to reach the goal of $2,000. If you are interested in bidding on an item, check out the website: info4programs.com/shop
