The International AIC President and Vice President attended a reception at St. Ann’s Center for Children, Youth & Families, and visited Mount Calvary Church and Food Pantry.
St. Mary’s (Diocese of Buffalo) Junior Ladies of Charity have been keeping busy with a variety of projects throughout this summer and fall.
Buffalo Ladies of Charity filled 500 gift bags for clients who are homebound. This service project was completed in November in recognition of World Day of the Poor.
St. Mary’s of Lancaster New York held it’s annual “Pennies for Pillows” collection. And, St. Mary’s Ladies of Charity and Junior Ladies of Charity joined together to prepare homebound bags.
On Sunday, September 24th, the Prince Georges County, Maryland Ladies of Charity held its first post pandemic in-person new member induction service and luncheon. Fourteen ladies were inducted.
A Mass and fundraising event were held for the families of the victims of last weekend’s tragic accident in which a Lady of Charity and three others lost their lives.
