AIC Training Reflection on Governance

Dear AIC volunteers, dear friends,

The purpose of the training reflection we are sending you today is to share a reflection that the Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life proposed to international leaders of ecclesial movements and associations during a symposium held in 2021 on the topic: “The responsibility of governance within lay associations. An ecclesial service”. AIC was represented at this symposium by its International President and the Secretary of the Executive Board.

You will find in the training reflection several important recommendations on good governance that are applicable at all levels of our association: international, national and local.

This training reflection gives us the opportunity to develop two of our AIC priorities: “moving forward together”, in this case within the Church, and “being open to and welcoming change” in the particular context of AIC, especially for those members responsible for the good governance of our association, at any level.

We count on you to take this opportunity to reflect as a team on this important topic.

Best regards,

Tayde de Callataÿ and Milagros Galisteo Moya
