Dear AIC volunteers, dear friends,
We will soon celebrate the feast of St. Louise de Marillac, a time of joy shared with the entire Vincentian Family.
On this important occasion, we are happy to send you a new AIC training reflection – the first since our International Assembly – in which, with the help of the Daughters of Charity, we focus on St. Louise’s Pentecost Experience. June 4 will mark the 400-year anniversary of this decisive event in her life.
We encourage you to read the training reflection carefully, in order to get to know St. Louise better and to immerse yourselves in her spirituality, which is a source of inspiration for our service to people living in poverty. In this way, we are deepening our understanding of our first Priority Line of Action 2023-2026: “Rooting ourselves in the Vincentian charism”.
We have included a prayer to St. Louise at the end of the reflection, and invite you to join us in this prayer on May 9.
