The Ladies of Charity of Albany, NY held their annual Coats for the Community event on October 25-26, 2019. Coats are collected mainly from Catholic Churches in the Albany area. LOC sort, mend, wash and finally shop with each person looking for a coat for themselves and their families. Everyone can take a coat and a sweater or jacket plus snow pants, scarves, hats and gloves were also offered. It was a huge success serving four communities and everyone enjoying themselves immensely.
