A Saturday afternoon in August, 2016, brought thunder to a blue-sky day at (a local restaurant/bar) Spillway’s annual Night of Thunder event held in an effort to support the Ladies of Charity food pantry. Early in the afternoon people and classic cars began filling the parking lot.
The day consisted of people admiring the hot rods and classic cars, playing various games including barnyard bingo, enjoying brats and hot dogs, and music from a great band.
The Perryville Ladies were blessed with money made from the silent auction, games, food, donations, and sponsors. We exceeded the $10,000 figure from last year’s event and hit the dollar amount of $ 12,571.
