Sister Carol Schumer, D.C. writes, “As we continue the Easter season and welcome May this week, I want to offer a prayer option… entitled ‘Mary’s Role’ including a crowning.”

Our Easter prayer service is titled “Risen and ALIVE.”

Since Ash Wednesday is March 5th, Lent is the focus of the service, with “Holiness” as its title.

This month’s prayer option is entitled “Do Love”– which, as followers of Jesus, Vincent and Louise, is our call.

Pope Francis wrote about the Jubilee Year of Hope for 2025 that Christians must ‘abound in hope’ to be credible witnesses of God’s love.

Sr. Carol Schumer, D.C., reminds us of God’s choice to come to us as a baby– of God’s Power in the Powerlessness of Love.

This month, Sr. Carol Schumer, D.C. offers a prayer service entitled “Gratitude for Life.”

“Given our current world situation and our contentious political scene, ‘Peace’ is an appropriate concept for us to focus on and pray with.”

Given the importance of the recent Eucharistic Congress and the theme of the LCUSA National Assembly, “Committed to the Eucharist…”, this prayer service, entitled “Become Eucharist,” continues this theme.
