“Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much”
The holidays are over, the decorations are stored, the wrapping paper is put away. But the memories are still there.
The Ladies of Charity in Salt Lake City held their annual holiday bazaar and it was a doozy. All day Saturday, we unpacked box after box and displayed out goods on table after table.
Decorations were dancing in the background as our first customers wandered in to view our wares after the Saturday Vigil Mass in late November. After much thought and examination, purchases were made and parishioners strolled to their cars carrying their treasures.
And then came Sunday. Our bazaar was filled to the brim with shoppers, laughter and good cheer. Wave after wave of browsers considered options and finalized Christmas gifts. In addition, the aroma of pancakes, sausage, and other goodies wafted through the hall and the hungry savored the delicious food.
On top of that, we did well financially.
It’s never too late to reminisce and relish holiday memories.
