Joli Morgan, Assistant Director of Vision Rehabilitation at the Olmsted Center for Sight in Buffalo wrote to the Buffalo Ladies of Charity: “Thank you so much for hosting Emmanuel and Ken for our fifth summer work internship. It means so much to our students that they have an opportunity to work and we love helping out the backpack program at Ladies of Charity. Thanks again and looking forward to working together again.”
A visually impaired student filled backpacks with school supplies. Ladies of Charity then organized the backpacks which were distributed to over 600 children of families receiving service through Catholic Charities.
