We are very excited about the Vincentian Spiritual Moderator (VSM) formation held on November 10-11 via Zoom. VSM formation was enjoyed by all. This year 27 Ladies of Charity completed the formation session. These women will be provided with mentors in 2024 and will be commissioned in September at the National Assembly in St. Louis. Congratulations to them!
The goal of the VSM training program is for every LOC association to have a commissioned VSM. Traditionally the Spiritual Moderators were Daughters of Charity but today, lay VSMs are needed since the Daughters’ numbers have diminished. We formed this program so every Association would get the same consistent information. Thank you to the Daughters of Charity and all the presenters of this online program!
We currently have over 50 commissioned VSMs in the United States, including those commissioned at the September 2023 National Assembly.
