Earlier this Spring the Ladies of Charity Calvert County held an induction for 17 new members of their chapter. They write:
“This is the largest group we have had in our 50+ year history! We attribute the increased interest to our new Facebook page where we post information about the Food Pantry, as well as to many more volunteers helping us at the Food Pantry since we moved our operation outside due to COVID. We now have 98 members in our chapter.”
Both the induction and the installation of new officers took place on the same day, during a Mass at St. Anthony’s in North Beach which was celebrated by the Pastor Father James Stack. A reception was held in Padua Hall afterward to help current members meet the new members.
