A Mother at the Foot of the Cross

Marilyn Martone (LOC, St. John’s University, NY) wrote an article in 2005 which makes a very appropriate Lenten Reflection for us today. She writes:

“The Cross does not teach us how to escape suffering, but how to be faithful in the midst of suffering.”
