We are happy to introduce the new Junior Ladies of Charity (JLOC) of North Beach, MD. Six young ladies were inducted at 9 AM mass held on September 8, 2018 at St. Anthony’s of Padua.
LOC and JLOC, along with their families, celebrated afterwards in the St. Anthony’s LOC food pantry.
Some of the upcoming projects for the girls are helping the LOC at our parish with dinner and dessert that they provide to our local homeless shelter once a month, going to the senior citizen’s home and giving manicures to the ladies, making and selling homemade dog biscuits and donating the funds to the local humane society. The girls did a flower bed cleanup project over the summer at the nun’s home in our parish.
