It was a beautiful fall afternoon with unseasonably warm temperatures but these Ladies and Daughters of Charity were gathered in the activity room for an important job. It was our annual day to write Christmas cards to our servicemen and women. And so about a dozen LOC and 18 DOC spent a lovely afternoon writing cards and sharing stories, laughs and refreshments. Over the last two years we have gotten to know each other quite well and our time together is always special. When we finished 50 letters were ready to send to military personnel stationed away from home. These supportive cards are sure to bring a smile to all who receive them! Many thanks to all the Daughters and Ladies who were able to be there!
