The “Thursday Team” poses for a picture before opening the Lots of Clothes Store operated by the Diocese of Buffalo Ladies of Charity. The first order of business is to gather for a prayer:
“Make me faithful in the duties I promise this day to fulfill toward the poor through this society of the Ladies of Charity.”
During the day they sort and hang donated clothes (note the hangers in the background), welcome customers, and serve people referred for free clothing by community service agencies.
