We will miss Marie Buckley. In the words of the Buffalo LOC President Marilyn Leslie:
“One of our most beloved Ladies of Charity, Marie Buckley, passed away November 21, 2014. She was one of the pioneer ladies way-back-when in the early years of LCUSA. She started in the northeastern region city of Binghamton. She later moved and became a member in the Buffalo LOC Association. Her dedication, experience, knowledge, service and most of all her friendship will be missed by many.”
Marie served as LCUSA president from 1982-84.

We received this remembrance from Elaine Columbus: “Marie Buckley was every thing a Lady of Charity should be. The Ladies in Binghamton, NY have very fond memories of her and she was a mentor to so many of us. I am happy that I was able to let her know what an impact she made on me while working together at our Nearly New Shop.”
