Sister of Charity pens Living the Days of Lent 2011

Sr. Anita M. Constance, a Sister of Charity of Saint Elizabeth, Convent Station, NJ, has written Living the Days of Lent 2011.

Available from Paulist Press for $4.95, this resource offers a one-page Scriptural meditation for each day of Lent, with illustrations and detachable pages.

From her Introduction: “During Lent, the church invites us to make the journey inward. Our destination is God. Our path is transformation….This is a journey we will make again and again. We were not born in pieces, but it takes a lifetime to discover our wholeness — the fullness of God’s original intention. Let us continue the journey — once again.”

A poet and writer, Sr. Anita is the author of other works including A Cup of Grace to Go: What Jesus Might Say to Start Your Day (2002) and Night Vision: Praying through Change (1998).
