Halloween came early to the Daughters of Charity at St. Louise House when the Ladies of Charity hosted a party and brought their children and grandchildren. It was a fun filled time for the children and adults alike. Sharon and Sally came up with holiday themed games of Jack-o-lantern Bowling, Balloon Bounce and Halloween Bingo! Gypsies, angels, ninja turtles and a walking strip of bacon could be seen along with many, many others. The Daughters and the Ladies joined in the fun too – some with costumes, some with a quick save for a falling balloon and all with a keen eye for bingo! And of course what would Halloween be without a parade and trick or treating! Finally, we all shared some treats including pumpkin cookies, cider donuts, pumpkin cupcakes and Mary’s famous Italian jeanettes. It was our most lively Saturday yet! Join us in November when we write Christmas cards to soldiers!
