More than 75 women attended the annual Hundred Committee Tea organized by the Ladies of Charity of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. This event raises money for the association’s holiday outreach program, which distributes food vouchers to many parishes at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Fr. Perry Henry, CM, director of the DePaul Evangelization Center in Montebello was present. The evangelization center reaches out to local parishes in southern California, especially those with fewer fiscal resources, and creates culturally and linguistically sensitive programs for the formation of lay ministers. Fr. Perry is a former provincial superior for the western province of the Congregation of the Mission.
Theresa Ward, vice president for the western region of LCUSA, traveled from San Francisco to attend. Adriana Douglass is president of the Los Angeles association and Lenore Palangio was chairwoman for the tea.

One of the best places for tea. Excellent! Good messages from all the speakers.
Thank you Yolanda for the positive feedback. So happy you enjoyed the event and for your support of LOC.
