The Ladies of Charity in Knoxville earned almost $20,000 through their sixth annual golf tournament on May 2 at Egwani Farms Golf course. The tournament was initiated to pay the mortgage on their new building and continues to fund building repairs and improvements, and on-going programs. During the years since the tournament began, the Ladies have distributed food in an amount to provide over one million meals, and have filled 50,000 requests for clothing.
