Gayle Johnson from Leawood, KS, a member of the Kansas City Ladies of Charity, and LCUSA Board member, S. Mary Ann Daly, SC, from Bronx, NY, sister moderator for LCUSA, and Mary Ann Brawley, DC, sister moderator of the Binghamton Ladies of Charity Association were among fifty-one recipients of the Seton Legacy of Charity Bicentennial Medal. The Seton Legacy Celebration occurred on May 23, 2009 at the Basilica of the National Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Emmitsburg, MD. The presentation was made by Most Reverend Kevin C. Rhoades, DD., Bishop of the Diocese of Harrisburg, PA, with His Eminence William Cardinal Keeler, DD., J.C.D., in attendance.
