Thank you to Kathy Sieracki, Mary Ellen Carver and Sharon Darisse for volunteering with Kathy Roseti to work an event at the Afghan Support Center on March 30, 2024. It is quite impressive the resources the government put together to assist the Afghan people who were evacuated from Afghanistan in 2022. The participating agencies were there to help with finding housing, jobs, health care, red tape with Visas, etc. Ladies of Charity provided 13 bins of clothing, shoes and puzzles for distribution.
The Ladies of Charity had a table where we shared information on our organization, especially our Fresh Start and Clothing Referral Programs.
