Palm Sunday ~ the beginning of Holy Week. The Schenectady Ladies of Charity volunteer their time and talent to make hundreds of palm items that are blessed on Palm Sunday and offered for a donation at various churches. This year our ladies crafted over 1000 crosses and netted over $2,700 in donations for our pantries! Our thanks to all of our contributors! Here are a few pictures of our ladies at work and a photo of Loretta DeAngelus holding her lovely palm cross, she made for Our Lady of Mt. Carmel.
May all of us have a prayerful Holy Week and remember God’s promises to us on Easter Sunday– the spiritual holiday of all time.

Easter greetings to all Ladies of Charity from the Schenetady Chapter of the Albany, NY Diocese.
Kudos to LOC Schenectady, NY on a successful fundraiser. What a beautiful Palm Cross made by Loretta DeAngelus. I would love to have instructions on how to make one for myself.
