A Lady of Charity, Ms. Lauretta Sullivan is celebrating her 100th Birthday, on September 4, 2016. Ms. Sullivan is a chartered member of the Association of Ladies of Charity at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Washington, DC, serving as President for six years. She later served as the first African-American President of the Ladies of Charity Archdiocese of Washington Board from 1970-1972. She has also served as President of the District of Columbia Ladies of Charity Unit. Ms. Sullivan is still active in the Ladies of Charity serving with humility, simplicity and charity.
