The Diocese of Buffalo Ladies of Charity (LOC) held their 4th annual “Party Saturday” gift card and theme basket raffle on Saturday, April 30th. The event was attended by more than 100 members and friends and raised more than $5,000 to be used to directly support LOC ministries. The Ladies of Charity thank the many volunteers who gave their support planning, setting up the event, selling tickets, making and donating theme baskets, donating gift cards, and helping out on event day. They also extend their appreciation to the many local businesses that donated gift cards and certificates from their businesses for the raffle. Volunteers who helped make the event so enjoyable and such a huge success included three members of the Junior Ladies of Charity from St. Mary of the Assumption Parish, Payton Cotter, Jackie Bieber and Sophia DiMarzio and LOC Director Julie Lulek’s son Bennett who did a great job calling the drawing numbers!
