Dear Ladies:
I know many are soliciting for donations to help our sisters and brothers in the Ukraine. If you have already sent a donation for this Ukrainian relief via another channel that is fine. I just want to make you aware that the LCUSA is also stepping forward to connect with our Vincentian affiliations in that area to assist those affected by the war in the Ukraine and are in need. If you would like to make a contribution through our association to this desperately worthy cause you may donate online using PayPal or a credit card (click below):
The LCUSA in return will send all monies to the Daughters of Charity Treasurer here in the United States who will wire the funds directly to her Sisters over in the Poland/Ukraine area and who will then see that all monies will be distributed properly and only for the purpose of helping all the Ukrainian people they are assisting during this crisis.
If you are unable to donate at this time you can always help by remembering the entire Ukrainian Nation in your prayers. Many of our ladies here in the United States have friends or relatives in the Baltic areas who are living close and possibly personally in dire straits because of this war. We ourselves have a AIC/LOC association in Ukraine. Even though we are many miles away this is a personal tragedy for us and all of God’s people. We all are connected.
If you need to make a payment by check you can make your check payable to Ladies of Charity with a note that this is a donation for the Ukraine Assistance Fund. Mail the check to:
Ladies of Charity of the United States of America
2816 E. 23rd St., Kansas City, MO 64127
We will not hold on to your money. We will send weekly payments to Ukraine through the Daughters of Charity USA Treasurer. Our initial stipend will be a $1,000.00 donation from the LCUSA National Association.
Thank you for your prayers and generosity for the people in Ukraine.
Following St. Vincent de Paul, St. Louise de Marillac & St. Elizabeth Ann Seton,
Peggy Keene
LCUSA President

The Ladies from Ukraine, association in Kharkiv, very near the Russian border, and one of the first cities to be decimated, faithfully attend AIC assemblies with their chaplain, Fr. Jan, who translates for them. The Ladies in England twin with them as we do with Madagascar. The chief rabbi in Ukraine asks us to recite Ps. 31 aloud for their struggle.
