From 8th-17th February 2021, AIC will be represented at the United Nations headquarters in New York during the 59th session of the ECOSOC Commission for Social Development (CSocD59). This year’s central theme is: “A Socially just transition towards sustainable development: the role of digital technologies on social development and well-being of all”. The pandemic has revealed just how important access to digital technology is for the vulnerable people that we support.
In view of this very important session, the NGO Committee, of which Mary Ann Dantuono is a member, has prepared a Civil Society Declaration on this subject.
AIC International has already co-signed this declaration. But for the first time ever, it is possible for you to support it too, by signing it personally, and/or on behalf of your national association.
