On December 10th, the St. John’s Prep Junior Ladies of Charity warmly welcomed LCUSA President Gayle Johnson, President-Elect Mary Ann Dantuono and Northeastern Region Vice President Kathleen Sieracki to their school in New York City. The high school students have been in formation and many will be formally inducted in late January. Their moderators have been teaching them that “The Ladies of Charity is a society that was founded by St. Vincent de Paul in 1617 to respond to the needs of the poor with compassion, charity and assistance that is sustainable and organized.
