As we enter a new year of service and hope, we are reminded of the deep and urgent needs across our country—needs that the Ladies of Charity have worked to address for more than 400 years, inspired by the vision of St. Vincent de Paul and St. Louise de Marillac.
Today, the needs are greater than ever. Families struggle with the rising cost of food, housing, and healthcare. Children go without educational support. Women face barriers that prevent them from achieving stability and independence. Through our local associations and national programs, the Ladies of Charity USA respond directly—feeding the hungry, supporting at-risk children and women, welcoming immigrants, caring for the elderly, and advocating for systemic change.
