Dear friends and volunteers of AIC,
For several years now, the Church has been committed to combating abuse and all forms of exploitation of minors and vulnerable people, creating rules and procedures for preventing and knowing how to react to such serious situations that violate people’s dignity. In order to be as effective as possible, the Church has invited ecclesial movements and associations of lay faithful, such as AIC, to create specific protocols for protecting minors and vulnerable people.
The aim of the attached training reflection is to raise awareness of this issue throughout the AIC network, and to share guidelines for developing the necessary protocols, which will need to be implemented at all levels of our association.
We would be very grateful if you could share with us any measures you have already taken in your association with regard to protecting minors and vulnerable people.
