On May 18, 2025 Bishop David A. Zubik invested 130+ women in the Ladies of Charity, Diocese of Pittsburgh.
There are 38 individual Ladies of Charity associations in the Pittsburgh Diocese under the leadership of the Pittsburgh Diocesan Board. The officers of the Diocesan Board include President, 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, Recording Secretary, Financial Secretary, Treasurer, Corresponding Secretary and Parliamentarian. There are also a number of committees on this board: Communications, Extension, Junior Ladies of Charity, Membership, Newsletter Editor, Nursing Home Network, Social Media, Spirituality, Society for the Unclaimed Dead and Mid-Atlantic National Board Representative (when a Pittsburgh Lady of Charity sits on the LCUSA National Board).
Each individual association has its own bylaws, officers and committees. The individual associations pay their LCUSA dues to the Diocesan Financial Secretary who in turn has the Diocesan Treasurer submit the total amount of dues for the active Pittsburgh membership to the LCUSA office. The total number of active Pittsburgh members fluctuates every year but is usually about 1200+ yearly.
