LCUSA National Assembly 2025, September 11-13: “Choose Hope”

Dear Ladies of Charity,

It is my pleasure and privilege to join the Ladies of Charity of the Archdiocese of Washington to invite you to attend the 2025 National Assembly of the Ladies of Charity USA in Bethesda, MD. This year’s theme is “Choose Hope.”

“Because it is very useful for all holy communities to come together from time to time in some place intended for discussing the spiritual progress and… to discuss matters concerning the welfare of those who are poor and the support of the confraternity.”

(St. Vincent de Paul, Rule of the Confraternity of Charity of Châtillon, November 1617. CCD Vol. 13b, p. 15.)

Over 400 years later, following the teaching of our founder Saint Vincent de Paul, we still gather annually in the same spirit.

Debbie Self from LOC Archdiocese of Washington writes: “We will have a bus trip to Emmitsburg to honor St. Elizabeth Ann Seton’s 50th anniversary of sainthood. We will have great speakers. We will host LOC from all over the USA. We will have three days of fun, so register now. We will network with those LOC and make new friends. And we will learn where next year’s Assembly will be!”
