The Ladies of Charity of St. Isidore the Farmer Parish have embodied the spirit of serving others with their recent activities. Various undertakings include monthly visits to a local nursing home, crafting gifts for First Communicants and Confirmation candidates, hosting a reception for the newly confirmed and their families, assembling nineteen fleece blankets for a local non-profit organization, sending monthly cards, phone calls and visits to parish members who are homebound, and organizing a collection for Gift of Mary, and following a visit to Choices Pregnancy Services, members are looking forward to supporting this program.
This Ladies of Charity parish group is also happy to announce that fourteen members were invested on May 18 at Saint Paul’s Cathedral.
With the guidance of our patron saints, the ladies will continue to serve throughout the summer months.
