Over 200 Ladies of Charity and members of the Vincentian Family gathered in St. Louis September 12-15 to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the American Ladies of Charity. The theme was “Honoring the Past, Celebrating the Present, Embracing the Future”.

Attendees were honored to have from Rome, Italy, Father Gregory Gay, Superior General of the Vincentians as keynote speaker. The ladies were called to advocacy; honored our own; shared mission moments; and heard the true life stories of courageous formerly incarcerated women who had turned their lives around. Mass was held at St. Vincent de Paul Church, home of the first American Ladies of Charity. A river boat cruise, a tour of the city and a trip to he National Shrine of the Miraculous Medal in Perryville, were offered to assembly participants.
