Year of Vincentian Collaboration

logo-famvin-english-largeVery Rev. Gregory Gay, CM, the Superior General of the Vincentians has declared a “Year of Collaboration” from the Feast of Pentecost, May 24, 2015 to the Feast of Pentecost, May 15, 2016. Our theme is “Together in Christ, We Vincentians make a Difference.” The Vincentian family throughout the world will be celebrating and giving thanks for opportunities to serve people in our communities. Fr. Gay is requesting that the “family” of Vincentians– the Ladies of Charity, Congregation of the Mission, Daughters of Charity, Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Vincentian Lay Missioners, and other groups– gather locally to celebrate our collective mission and to learn more about each other and how we serve. In particular, this year will be an opportunity to pray with each other as we look to the future.

Please join in this celebration and send in pictures and stories for our webpage and Facebook. We would like good stories of collaboration with other parts of the family (500 words) for the Servicette and shorter postings (50 words) for our e-blasts and Facebook. Pictures are always welcome. You can also follow the family celebration on FamVin.
